Follow up MRI August 1998 minimal residual tumor anterolaterally to the right. Superior and inferior syrinxes had resolved.

Routine MRI demonstrated leptomeningeal involvement of posterior fossa and spinal cord.

Symptomatic hydrocephalus developed in August 1999
