History                               Presenter: Dr. James Drake

Age: 18 months
Sex:
Examination: Dysmorphic 18 month old with diagnosis of mild Pfeiffer Syndrome, developmentally normal. Age 1 year head circumference 95%, moderate enlarged ventricals, optic disc elevation ? Pseudopapilledema. Cranial sutures open. Diagnosis obstructive sleep apnea, tonsils out. MRI tonsillar ectopia "Chiari I". Now progressive papilledema, HC 50%, sutures fused on CT, almost normal head shape, ventricals unchanged. ICP monitoring plateau waves 40 mm Hg. Parents very concerned about shunt complications.
