History:
- 1990 -- Headaches, poor vision, tiredness, poor libido.
Examination: Bitemporal hemianopsia
CT: head: Large pituitary tumour.
Proactin level normal.
Transphenoidal excision of tumour done. Partial removal because of bleeding. Vision in right eye worse post-op.
- 1991 -- Transcranial excision done because of visual deterioration of the right eye. Partial excision only because of very vascular capsule.
- 1991 -- Radiation with 5000 cGy's.
- 1999 -- Did well over the years. Denied any new symptoms. Wife disagrees. Says he has frequent severe headaches, is always tired and has mood swings. Eupituitary on present replacement therapy.
CT head done.
Treatment: Conservative?
