Sex: Female
History:
June 1999 - Crushed left hand in a chain roller at a brewery with lacerations in the left middle and ring fingers. Gradually started to get pain in the left hand fingers and the upper limb with a disagreeable sensation, loss of hair, shiny skin, and stiffness of the fingers.

Physiotherapy, acupunture - no relief.
started on narcotics.

December 1999 - Stellate ganglion blocks - transitory relief.
Diagnosis of RSD

July, 2000 - Cervical spinal cord implant.
Good control of pain.

November, 2000 - Left upper limb pain is well controlled. She is starting to get pain, stiffness and swelling in the right upper limb.

  1. What to do as the RSD is now spreading to the opposite side?
