believe that:

scientific inquiry, is integral to
excellence in the provision of
health care

The clinician/researcher and
research scientist models of
scientific inquiry are important to
the advancement of knowledge and
understanding in health care

All scientific methodologies
(e.g., surveys, controlled
experimentation) and all avenues of
investigation (e.g., physical,
psychological, social) have the
potential to yield valuable
information about health and
health-related processes

The RQHR should aspire to
become, and promote itself as a
leader in health care research and
development

It is the responsibility of
researchers to disseminate, via
presentation and publication,
information gained through research

the Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region

Assisting in establishing and
promoting a reputation for the
Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region and
its researchers as leaders in health
care research and development

Promoting and actively
conducting health care research and
development within the Regina
Qu'Appelle Health Region

Providing research support
services and consultation to staff
of the Regina Qu'Appelle Health
Region

Providing educational and
training opportunities to aspiring
health researchers

Creating productive research
relationships with community health
researchers and research agencies
