Jill Zimmer LLB
has joined
Research and Performance Support as Manager of
Research Administration. Jill
graduated from the University
of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Laws in 2001. Her
background in research administration is primarily
in academic settings, first at the University of
Regina Office of Research Services as a Contracts
Officer, and most recently as Agreements Manager,
Natural/Social Sciences and Humanities at the
University of Alberta Research Services Office. As
such, she has been involved in the review and
negotiation of industry and government funded
research contracts, inter-institutional
collaborations, as well in the administration of
peer-reviewed competitive granting programs.
Jill's responsibilities with the RQHR includes the review of externally funded
research contracts, including clinical trial
agreements, and the development of research
administration policies to assist RPS in meeting its
goal of promoting and actively conducting health
care research and development. |
