Prof. Doug Cripps, a faculty member in Kinesiology and Health Studies at the University of Regina since 1998 has a research interest in the area of internationally educated health professionals (IEHPs). More specifically, his current interests lie in the area of understanding issues which impact the attitude of current Saskatchewan educators, clinical instructors and community based preceptors towards IEHPs and how faculty development and mentoring modules could ease the transition of IEHPs in to the Saskatchewan health care system. Doug is also involved in other projects including the development of a health studies curriculum at the University of Regina and two P-CITE Interprofessional collaboration projects.
