Prof. Doug Cripps, a faculty member in Kinesiology and Health
Studies at the University of Regina since 1998 has a
research interest in the area of internationally
educated health professionals (IEHPs). More
specifically, his current interests lie in the area
of understanding issues which impact the attitude of
current Saskatchewan educators, clinical instructors
and community based preceptors towards IEHPs and how
faculty development and mentoring modules could ease
the transition of IEHPs in to the Saskatchewan
health care system. Doug is also involved in other
projects including the development of a health
studies curriculum at the University of Regina and
two P-CITE Interprofessional collaboration projects.
