Suprasellar Tumour

Case 5

Age: 60

Sex: Male

History: 6 months of headaches and blurring of vision. Examination revealed bitemporal hemianopsia. Pituitary functions tests revealed a slightly elevated pPolactin levels. Clinical Impression - suprasellar tumour.

Treatment

Transphenoidal excision of the pituitary mass was done. It turned out to be pituitary adenoma.

The patient's visual impairment post operatively improved dramatically.
