Case 3

Age: 63

Sex: Female

History: Presented with tinitus of left ear 5 1/2 years ago. A left intracanalicular acoustic neuroma was excised 5 years ago. Had minimal left facial palsy post-op but lost left hearing. Now presents in November 1999 with left facial numbness. MRI scan of the brain was done.

Treatment: August 2000 referred to Toronto.

Commenced on Fractionated Stereotoxic radiation. Tolerated radiation well.


Post radiation MRI Feb. 2001, no contrast
