Investigation: CSF flow study arranged. This is done in Nuclear Medicine department by injection radioisotope dye into the subarachnoid space via lumber puncture and then scanning the patient's head over 3 days. The dye dissipates within 2 days in normal situations but is still detected in the ventricles in NPH.
