Case 31

Age: 46

Sex: Female

History: June 30, 2005. Headaches on/off for years. Now very severe. Has blurred vision and big left pupil.


Examination

Alert. Orientated. No neck stiffness. Left ptosis & 4 mm left fixed pupil.


Cerebral Angiogram

June 30, 2005 - Shows large left internal carotid and small ACA aneurysms


July 5, 2004 - Dr. Chris Ekong, Neurosurgeon, Regina

We admitted her over the long weekend for bedrest and treatment.

Now what?

- Surgery and coiling?

- One or both aneurysms?

She had a seizure today. GCS 15. Repeat CT shows SAH.
