Pre-op Angiogram

Bilateral Carotid angiogram showing Bilateral Cavernous Aneurysms

Treatment

The right giant aneurysms was suspected to be the bleeder as it appeared to be in the suberarachnoid space. It was of course not clipable. It was felt that it would be too dangerous to simply trap it in case she went into vasospasm. So ECA-MCA long vein bypass followed by trapping of the aneurysm was done.

Post-op

Post-op Angiogram showing satisfactory flow in the MCA distribution.
